Trexler Memorial Park is delightful, with Little Cedar Creek flowing through the grounds, creating a lovely central pond. Cedar Beach Park is a scenic tree-filled urban paradise nestled along Lake Muhlenberg. It's a peaceful place for a hike, where you can stroll down the paved trail along the water. The park includes a swimming pool, basketball courts, a playground, restrooms, and several places to stop and enjoy a picnic in the grass or at one of the many picnic areas on the grounds.

Leaser Lake Trail is a well-marked, easy-to-follow scenic path that loops around the lake's perimeter and into the beautiful evergreen tree woodlands. There is plenty of wildlife and a nice variety of sun and shade along the way. As you hike, you'll find several benches and picnic tables, perfect for a stop to enjoy a lovely lunch in this beautiful park.

This 540 acre park is named after Frederick Leaser, who transported the Liberty Bell to Allentown from Philadelphia in 1777. It is a fantastic place popular for fishing, boating, hiking, and cross-country skiing around the lake and into the woodlands. There are three parking areas, all with restrooms, picnic tables, and benches, making it a wonderful spot to spend the day exploring.

Cedar Beach Park is a public space with a bunch of different recreational offering. The paths on the property are great for running, and you can easily connect over to the trails at the Malcolm Gross Rose Garden if you want to get in a longer run.

With pavilions, open areas, walking paths, restrooms, and a few other recreational amenities, Hanover Canal Park is a popular spot for running in town. The paths at the park connect to the longer D&L Trail and offer views of both Catasauauqa Lake and the Lehigh River.
