On the edge of the Wijboschbroek nature reserve stands the Schijndel Sheepfold. It's one of the most beautiful spots in Schijndel. Besides the typical cultural heritage rebuilt here, it's especially the unique traditional Dutch sheep that invite you to visit this special location. The Sheepfold isn't just a pleasant resting place for visitors, cyclists, and hikers. Workshops and educational projects for all ages also regularly take place. Refreshments are available inside and on the adjacent terrace of 't Skupke. The Sheepfold volunteers are present daily. If the gate is open, you're welcome to come and have a look. Feel free to explore the beautiful garden, the pond, and the beehives behind the Hop-est. The Sheepfold volunteers are present Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Beautiful place for peaceful bird watching

Neat bird hide in a dedicated area. The smell can sometimes not be very pleasant, but with a bit of luck you will spot nice 'swamp' and/or reed species here

The Boshut is located in the green on the edge of the De Maashorst nature reserve. There is plenty to do in and around De Boshut every season! The cozy eatery is closed in the evening, but during the day you can have breakfast to get an energetic start to the walk, a lunch to catch your breath or a drink to reward yourself for the effort. The attractive Boshut is everything you expect from a forest café!

De Boshut is a super atmospheric and hip café hidden in the woods of the Maashorst nature reserve. It is part of camping Hartje Groen, tiny houses and the Anna van Holenberg cabin. This can make it very busy on weekends and holidays. Here you can enjoy a nice coffee or an extensive lunch. There is also a nice playground for children.
