You used to find many of these small houses on Twente farmyards. They were inhabited by Roman Catholic unmarried women. The name "klöpke" and "klöpkeshoes" (knock house) dates from a time when Roman Catholic church services were prohibited. By knocking on doors, the women invited their fellow believers to secret church services.

A beautiful new cabin where there is everything you need for a nice break and more. Here you can sit in the hut and help yourself to the snack options, which range from hot dogs to boiled eggs, apples, sweets and cakes and all sorts of drinks - cold or hot. There are also eggs from the farm, honey and meat products from Bentheimer pigs. The nicely decorated hut and the beautiful seating outside invite you to rest here.
