Lagoa da Meadinha is a small lagoon located in Peneda-Gerês National Park, in the Meadinha area, very close to the famous granite wall that attracts climbers. It is a natural lagoon with calm waters, formed by the accumulation of water in granite depressions. Travanca Lagoons, a beautiful natural haven in Peneda-Gerês National Park: They are located in the parish of Cabana Maior, municipality of Arcos de Valdevez, within Peneda-Gerês National Park. The landscape is characterized by emerald green waters, a granite setting, and lush forest. They consist of a succession of lagoons and waterfalls fed by the Travanca River, which originates in the Serra do Soajo mountain range and flows into the Ázere River.

The Roman Baths of Bande, or Aquis Querquennis, in Ourense, are part of an ancient Roman military camp from the 1st century AD, located next to the As Conchas reservoir. This archaeological complex includes ruins of barracks and walls, along with thermal baths fed by 50ºC thermal waters known for their medicinal properties. It is a site of great historical and tourist interest, combining nature and history in a unique setting.

The curious thing about Aceredo is that, in years of drought, the water level of the reservoir drops enough to reveal the ruins of the village. It is possible to walk through its old streets and observe the houses, the old mill, and other remains of what was once an active rural community. Images of the emerged village have attracted both tourists and curious people, creating an almost surreal atmosphere, as the remains remain frozen in time.

Aceredo is a village located in the municipality of Lobios, in the province of Ourense, Galicia, which was flooded in 1992 due to the construction of the Lindoso reservoir, on the Limia River, a project shared between Spain and Portugal. This village was submerged under the waters of the reservoir, which caused its inhabitants to abandon their homes.

Pantano (so named by the locals), is a natural lake at an altitude of 1000 meters. The large boulder in the middle of the lake is associated with a local legend.

One of the most beautiful national parks. Surroundings very sparsely populated and not yet overcrowded with tourists. Great to discover by bike, hardly any traffic and good roads.
