Gorgeous place, easy to access! Multiple campfire sites, toilet, a lot of firewood and if you go down the stairs there's a dock in case you want to visit using a boat. The lake water is a bit nasty so I wouldn't recommend swimming.

Lake Tuusula, just 30 kilometer from Helsinki, is a perfect destination for a relaxed cycling day surrounded by nature and Finnish cultural heritage. The lakeside route is easy and family-friendly, passing through peaceful forests and past artist homes like Ainola, the former residence of composer Jean Sibelius. Along the way, you'll find piers for exercise or a quiet break, picnic spots with lake views, and activities like canoe rental and frisbee golf. It’s an ideal place to enjoy Finnish nature, art history, and a refreshing ride in one compact area.

Sarvikallio, on the western shore of Lake Tuusulanjärvi, is a scenic spot ideal for a short nature break with a great view. The cliff rises 25 metres above the lake and was a favourite of the local artist community in the early 1900s. The Seittelinreitti trail, suitable for both walking and cycling, leads through varied forest and open landscapes to the viewpoint. While the area is family-friendly, cyclists should be prepared for some hilly terrain. It’s a great place for a picnic or to enjoy peaceful lake scenery along a relaxed ride.

Small nature reserve located at the southern end of Lake Tuusulanjärvi, established in 2010. There's a watchtower for birdwatching nearby.

I managed on the path with tyres ment for asphalt. Partly path has big stones and roots of the trees on the way but mostly route is enjoyable with bicycle. By The Lake of Bisa there are wooden bences built right near the water, where you can eat your picnic or just enjoy the view. Also next to the lake is a rocky hill. On the top of the hill is cooking shelter, where you clime up along built stairs. The view is beautifull, over the lake area.

Bisajärvi is one of Sipoonkorpi's designated camping areas, with toilet facilities and a fireplace. The lake is typical of this part of Finland; on clear days it reflects the surrounding trees beautifully. This camping spot is only a short walk from Kuusijärvi, with its lake swimming and traditional saunas.
