The path here runs right along Sör-Älgen. The lake is a gem for bikers and hikers seeking Swedish solitude. Forest trails wind around its dark, mirror-like surface. Expect quiet paths, hidden campsites, and phenomenal views.

Nice place to spend the night. Very nice view from the shelter. Room for multiple people to sleep. Fireplace and benches. There is also a pit latrine.

A shelter right on the lake. bench and fireplace. Wood and lighters are available there. You can stay overnight there. A forest toilet is in the immediate vicinity. The view from the shelter is really beautiful.

Rarely observed rearing of red-throated diver offspring is possible here in spring. The adult birds leave the area for the neighboring lakes and return with forage fish to the waiting offspring.

It's a quiet swimming spot with changing rooms, rigid diving boards and a fire pit.

Unlike other public swimming areas, there is a long pier here with a table and benches and even a diving board. However, like many other lakes, the water is reddish and not particularly clean. But the place is idyllic and worth a stop.
