The Loreto bridge, built in 1959, has a single span of 119 meters, is about 112 meters high and is among the highest bridges in Europe. Loreto, before being the place famous for the bridge, is a beautiful village nestled on the side of a gorge with a church dedicated to the Madonna di Loreto. The bridge connects the village of Cetta and ends shortly after. The bridge is famous first as the suicide bridge and then for having long been home to one of the few authorized Red Bull locations for Bungee Jumping.
