Many fishermen along this pond, the starting point of the Drouette. It's a must-see in the area :-)

It's hard to believe that you are so close to Paris when you pass through the pretty village of Gometz-le-Châtel. The town stands out in particular for its small ponds typical of Essonne. If you're running through it, slow down to have a look. You may spot the different species of amphibians, birds and mammals that inhabit the grounds.

I drove several times by car near this magical place without seeing it but, thanks to a mountain bike ride, I discovered it! great place to unwind!

A family and incredible place a few steps from the city center of Rambouillet

Here we find the second pond that punctuates the La Drouette river. A natural path goes around it. You will see people picnicking by the water, in a completely peaceful setting.
