A great bike path that takes you a long way along the B22 - towards Bamberg or Ebrach. Highly recommended.

A nice place for a rest in the middle of the forest. During the break we could observe a bird that had built its nest behind a window shutter and flew in and out through the slit. Beautiful nature - just let your soul dangle 👌

no matter which side you come from, the ascent to Neudorf (highest point) is long, but you will be rewarded with a great descent immediately afterwards!

Passenger traffic took place on the old railway line from Strullendorf to Ebrach from 1904 to 1961. Freight traffic even until 1999. Today you can find the beautiful bike path here, the gravel bed and the old train stations are the last witnesses of this bygone era. Incidentally, there were even plans in the past to extend the route via Gerolzhofen to Volkach to the Mainschleifenbahn. However, these were never implemented. At this old forester's house, you can settle down comfortably under the old trees and enjoy the silence with the idea: that’s what makes a national park. Continue straight on. You have learned a lot in the meantime, look carefully at the forest. After the first crossing the forest changes, it becomes lighter and clearly younger, compare it with the Koehler. At the next crossroads right, now we are walking on the hiking trail E3. It soon hits the bushes to the left in front of a left-hand bend. It is now 500 m to the Hohe Straße car park.
