The Tremsbüttel Manor, also known as Tremsbüttel Castle, is a historic building in Tremsbüttel, Schleswig-Holstein. It was originally built as a manor house for a noble estate and is often referred to as a castle due to its castle-like appearance. The manor has a varied history with various uses, including a hotel until 2020 and a private clinic starting in 2023.

It's no longer worth a visit, as the castle can only be viewed from a distance through the fence. The gardens are also no longer open to visitors.

For over 430 years, Ahrensburg Castle has been one of the most beautiful Renaissance castles in Schleswig-Holstein. During this long period there were joys and sorrows for the castle residents, as well as phases of decline and economic hardship instead of wealth and splendor. The castle museum is impressive with evidence of a long history, from the Renaissance to historicism, and modernity is also represented. Very close to the lock, Henneberg Castle stands on a specially created 15-meter-high hill. It looks like a fairy tale with its battlements and two towers, in the middle of an enchanted garden with trees. It was built in 1887 by the landowners Albert and Bruno Henneberg - on a scale of 1:4 of a castle that the Count of Henneberg had built in Meiningen, Thuringia. The Hamburg branch of the Hennebergs wanted to commemorate their ancestors and create a monument for themselves. The mini-castle with its 43 square meter interior area is still a monument today: It has been a listed building since 1991. A Hamburg couple fell in love with the gem, bought it in 2013 and founded a non-profit foundation. It is not possible to take photographs through the fence; the castle grounds and the park are not accessible, as a private clinic is now located there.

Today I finally managed to find the hidden stone to the former castle complex👍

Remains of the medieval count castle Arnesfelde. There is nothing left of the walls. But the layout of the old castle is understandable through the castle hill and ramparts.
