The Hoa Lu site is nice to visit, but quite simple. A short visit suffices, it's mainly interesting due to its historical significance. The main attraction are some old temples and beautiful gates.

Lotus Lake in Ninh Binh is a beautiful place, especially when the lotus blossoms are in full bloom. Many Vietnamese people come here, often in traditional costume, to take stunning photos against the backdrop of the lake. Perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the lively hustle and bustle and the magical atmosphere. Ideal for a short stroll and a few souvenir photos of your own!

Hoa Lu is an ancient royal city that was important for Vietnamese history in the 10th and 11th centuries. Today, however, little of it remains; Hoa Lu is more of a well-maintained park-like complex with a few gates and temples. Nice, but not a must-see.
