The location and the water view are fantastic. Clean restrooms. Absolutely top-notch!

In winter, summer, or any time of year—this place doesn’t lose its charm. Nature shows itself in its rawest form here: green slopes, water, rock, and air all blending around this small mountain lake. A great spot to pause, have a snack, or simply take in the surroundings.

Høgabu is a self-service DNT cabin in Bergsdalen, about a 2–3 hour hike from Lid. No electricity or running water—just gas for cooking, a wood stove, and the basics you need for a simple night in the mountains. It’s quiet, surrounded by hills and small lakes, and open all year with the DNT key. A nice stop if you're looking for something peaceful and low-key.

We did a four week trip through Scandinavia. The parking space was one of the most beautiful we have come to and is highly recommended 👍

The trail up is laid out quite cool. On the way back we took the “normal” route. Here you can see the waterfall, but the path is quite steep and rocky

Very nice, located on the lake campsite, good bus to Bergen.

The Vidden Trail connects the two mountain stations of the Ulriken cable car and the Floyen Schrägbahn. On the plateau you can train beautiful uneven terrain and always has beautiful views. It's best to start at Ulriken and hike to Floyen. Arriving at Floyen, a wonderful panoramic terrace awaits you with very nice views over Bergen.
