Easy top hike in open terrain. Great and spacious parking by Holmavatn. The area is well laid out, and a round trip to Steinkjerringa is recommended. Nice with landscaped natural stone fords.

The path is worthwhile in good weather. You will be rewarded with beautiful views. I recommend hiking boots because of the mud.

You have to work a little to get this view. The trip starts from a private car park (Payment required) and carries quickly and steeply upwards. Well up you get a great view. We chose to go for a walk and followed the marked path as best we could. But we partially went off the marked path. Enjoy yourself!
