「ブルット・レンケ」は、1980年に「アレクサンダー・キエラン」号の事故で亡くなった123人を偲ぶ印象的な記念碑です。この記念碑は、クヴェルネヴィークのスミオデンにある海辺の絶景の地にあり、北海を見渡せます。 壊れた鎖のリンクのようにデザインされたこの彫刻は、アーティストのヨハネス・ブロック・ヘルムによるもので、1986年に除幕されました。銅で作られており、重さは約5トン、長さは6メートルです。記念碑のすぐ下には、亡くなった全員の名前が刻まれた記念碑があります。

The pond in Nærbøparken is a central and tranquil feature of this green urban oasis in Nærbø center. It is a relatively small body of water that creates a serene gathering spot, historically known as a "duck pond" and a key attraction for families. Surrounded by the park's lush greenery, cherry trees, and activity areas, the pond provides a calming, reflective surface and serves as a picturesque anchor for the community meeting place.

Ålgård is the largest town and administrative centre of Gjesdal municipality. Historically known for its wool and textile industry driven by the Figgjo River, it has evolved into a modern center that was once awarded Norway's prestigious National Prize for Architecture. Today, Ålgård is perhaps best known as the home of Kongeparken, the largest amusement park in Western Norway.

Here you will find a bench overlooking the river, ideal for a rest stop. At the edge of the terrace, you can see the fast-flowing waters of the Figgjo River, while all around, the trees are painted in the typical colors of the season; the paved path is comfortable for walking.
