It was a day to forget for the green island and not only for the 13 people who lost their lives in the accident (5 crew members and 8 passengers). In fact, many islanders went to the scene, with the area engulfed in flames, and cynically indulged in acts of looting, stealing valuables, money and whatever they found in their hands. We have received some truly macabre stories, one above all that tells of people who, in order to steal gold rings, went as far as cutting off fingers. This demonstrates the fact that in Ischia history is not always synonymous with events to be proud of.

The water stone is located on the top of Monte della Guardia, 720 m, the second highest peak of Mount Epomeo.

Spaghetti Epomeo forever - I love it 😊😅

Considered to be the only summit cross on Ischia, although it is actually a memorial to a crashed plane and the dead.

Definitely recommended. At the top you have a complete panoramic view of the island.
