Unfortunately the Canadian shelter was set on fire. When I passed by, all that was left were a few burnt wooden planks and shards of glass.

The renovation has just been completed

Newly refurbished refuge, where it is possible to stop for a picnic and take shelter

Beautiful ride in the mountains of upper Irpinia between paths, dirt roads and little asphalt. The tour is among the beech trees which in some places create dark ravines and in the valleys you can admire very fragrant flowers and brooms. For the record, I also spotted a wild boar. 😂 🤣 😂

Unfortunately, following a fire in the shelter, all that remains is rubble. Even the connection to the cable car square is made difficult by the works on the lifts, so you have to cross the stables and exit above it, or go through a hole in the fence immediately after the toilets.

It's a pleasure to go down here on a mtb! Jumps, natural ramps and a gentle and wide difference in height .. all surrounded by wooden sculptures made from chestnut tree trunks. Suggestive!

The Acqua degli Uccelli Refuge is located under Monte Terminio. After years of neglect, the renovation works have begun. There are two picnic tables where you can stop and relax.
