Very beautiful in some places it seems little used is the route well marked?

From here starts the path which, after the bridge and after having climbed the Tremonti gorges along the Solofrone stream, leads to the waterfall of the same name.

This corner of Piaggine is particularly suggestive in all seasons. The waterfall of the Calore river is a force of nature.

Going up from Giungano this is the second waterfall of the Solofrone that you come across. It is the one with the highest water drop. Sturdy, non-slip footwear. Trekking poles recommended.

UPDATE: January 19, 2025: the bridge has been rebuilt!!! Attention on December 12, 2021 the passage on the wooden bridge over the Solofrone was prohibited (the bridge had been demolished)

Path of the "three mountains" and the Solofrone waterfall between the municipalities of Giungano and Trentinara crossing the entire Tremonti valley, so called because it is enclosed between the mountains of the sottano on the left, the central Tremonti greenhouse and the cantenna cliff on the right. The path runs along the river and the walls, where there is the possibility of seeing numerous natural pools and the Solofrone waterfall.
