The Intagli lake is one of the many small lakes found at the foot of Monte Soro, the highest peak of the Nebrodi. It is a high altitude wetland, surrounded by beech forest and rich biodiversity.

Section of the Sentiero Italia between Lake Biviere and Lake Maulazzo inside the Nebrodi Park. The first is a natural lake surrounded by a centuries-old beech forest, the second is an artificial reservoir at the foot of Monte Soro.

The road that leads from floresta into the park, called dorsale dei nebrodi, is really bumpy. A high car is recommended, preferably an off-road vehicle. We did it with a compact SUV very slowly and we were at the limit.

Very interesting all year long, but around january if you are lucky, you can find it completely frozen.
