The Acqua Rocca Trail takes its name from a seasonal waterfall that forms in winter and spring, shaping the basaltic rocks over time. Even in summer, the trail offers spectacular views of the Valle del Bove, the summit craters and the Ionian coast.

The third proposed route cannot currently be done! The section that goes up to Mount Zoccolaro is currently closed due to new landslides on the ridge! It is best to only do the route from Piano del Vescovo to Acqua Rocca and then continue to Valle del Bove!

Nice hike, along a track suitable for vehicles most of the time. On the other hand, the last 200 meters are difficult to do between walking in the water and uncleared path. We did it in October and the waterfall was dry

Corner of paradise under Montalbano. The path that connects it, however, is very bumpy: in some places there are large stones, in others short but steep stretches. I left the bike halfway between the stream and Montalbano. Despite everything, it's really worth it. No connection

Very beautiful waterfalls, the path there is a bit monotonous and there is no shade!

Trail done just today In some sections before arriving on the wooden bridge there is very lush vegetation and the path is difficult to locate, otherwise it is really worth doing I stopped at the beech tree also because I had the dog in tow and knowing the remaining path overlooking the Bove valley was not exactly easy, I preferred to give up.
