Pralboino Castle, built in the 13th century by the Gambara family, is a historical landmark in the area. Originally conceived as a military fortress, during the Serenissima period it was transformed into a summer court and cultural center, hosting an academy that contributed to the intellectual life of the area. Today, the castle is part of Palazzo Gambara, which stands on its ruins after its destruction by the troops of Frederick II. Cycling in the surrounding area, you can admire the architectural elegance of the palace and immerse yourself in the history of Pralboino, a place that has seen the passage of emperors and nobles. A cycling itinerary here allows you to explore the Brescia plain and discover the traces of a glorious past, among ancient fortifications and rural landscapes.

Padernello Castle is located in the village of the same name in the Borgo San Giacomo area in the province of Brescia. The castle dates back to the 15th century and is surrounded by a moat which makes it fascinating. Access to the structure (130 rooms on a surface area of 4000 m²) is via a still functioning drawbridge. The castle today hosts exhibitions and events.

Pontevico is a municipality in the province of Brescia on the left bank of the Oglio river. From the bridge you have a beautiful view of the river and the castle of Pontevico, and several cycle routes pass through here, including the Oglio cycle route, the Mello cycle route, and the section connecting Brescia and Cremona.

Founded shortly after the year 1000, the castle saw a succession of figures of the highest rank within it.

Castle located in a very small village, to reach it and the surrounding area there are many roads perfect for gravel

a little gem in the middle of kilometers of cultivated fields. A stop is a must. the Castle is almost always closed as it opens for events or guided tours, in this village called Padernello there are several restaurants where you can eat very well and help you recover the strength spent pedaling.
