The Parco delle Cave lake is closest to Sanpolino and therefore more popular, particularly on weekends and in summer when the municipality organizes sports sessions in the park. The paths around the lake are all gravel and also offer some ups and downs

Lake Gerolotto, the last of the lakes in the Cave Park, has become a new space accessible to citizens starting from December 2021. Covering a vast surface area of over fifty hectares, the lake is divided into two basins and is surrounded by a five kilometer ring. Located within the Parco delle Cave, south of Brescia, this lake offers an opportunity to spend time in a natural environment close to the city. It is an ideal place for outdoor activities such as jogging, cycling or simply relaxing in a quiet area.

To cross between the North and South you go through a small tunnel on the East side. The north end is more natural with trees and the south is more open with a cafe and kids playground.
