It is a wonderful protected nature reserve created from the redevelopment of an old mining site. The two lakes, in fact, arise in the old marl extraction excavations. The cycle/pedestrian paths develop within a protected area of high landscape value. Along the route of the old Tramway you come across the "Bottini Bridge", from which you can admire the view of a deep ravine dug by the Cosia stream which forms the so-called "bottini waterfall". The bridge was inaugurated on June 9, 2002. At this same point in 1955 the bridge that joined the hamlets of Camnago and Solzago, allowing the river to be crossed, collapsed due to intense rain. The Baggero Oasis is the result of the environmental recovery of a large area previously used for mining, located between the municipalities of Merone, Monguzzo, Lambrugo and Lurago d'Erba.
