At the end of the cycle path on the Adda, before Lecco, you arrive at this stretch of cycle/pedestrian road.

Wonderful natural oasis. It is a marshy area, rich in river vegetation and very rich in fauna, ranging from amphibians, to dragonflies to grebes, herons, woodpeckers etc. Unfortunately, the Louisiana red crayfish is also present, which as the name suggests is an invasive species. Correct behavior is recommended, do not scare the animals, be careful where you walk so as not to step on amphibians, do not leave waste, no noise etc. However, there are information signs with the rules to follow

Cycling along the cycle path there is this panoramic point that allows you to admire Lake Garlate.

Lake Garlate is where the Adda widens to the Olginate dam and has a pedestrian and cycle path from Lecco. Although less known than nearby lakes, it offers several attractions along its perimeter.

The Perus lake is located at the pass of the same name (1300 m) which connects the San Martino Valley and the Imagna Valley. The name is in Bergamo dialect and means "hole", indicating a rather narrow passage.
