The Bismarck Column of Waldshagen – also known as the "Bismarck Column at Lake Vierer See," the "Bismarck Column Plön," or the "Bismarck Column Plön-Waldshagen" – is one of eight Bismarck Towers in Schleswig-Holstein. It stands on a small hill in a wooded area east of the southern tip of Lake Vierer See, about three kilometers southeast of Plön. The site belongs to Waldshagen, a district of the municipality of Bösdorf in the Plön district. The tower, erected by the then owner of the Waldshagen estate in honor of Otto von Bismarck, was inaugurated on July 29, 1913. It was designed by Albert Klücher and architect Waldvogel, both based in Eutin.

Good luck: who can catch the biggest fish? Lake Vierer is an ideal area for anglers. The old breeding lake in the Holstein Lake District has a good fish population. Quiet bays and steep banks give you a good chance of catching a lot of fish. Pike, perch, carp, bream, roach, eel, whitefish and tench can be caught in Lake Vierer. Enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet on the lake while you cast your line and wait for a bite. The Vierer See is a lake in the municipality of Bösdorf in the district of Plön in Schleswig-Holstein. It is located southeast of Plön, east of the Great Plön Lake, from which it is separated by a very narrow strip of land. It is located in Holstein Switzerland, surrounded by a hilly moraine landscape. A relaxing round, my tip 🚶😊
