This superb multi-tiered waterfall, reinforced by human work, ensures the continued flow of water passing through the Bisse Vieux, minimizing losses.

Here you can admire the waters of a stepped waterfall that flows into the Bisse de Saxon. Here, you can truly appreciate the ingenuity of these constructions.

Not only is cycling prohibited here, but even carrying bicycles is prohibited. You are neither allowed to push nor carry your bike! Possibly even possessing a bicycle is a criminal offense. This isn't clearly indicated at the entrance; there's just a crossed-out biker on a bicycle. After pushing our bikes 2km and about 300 meters in elevation to the Col de Cou, we fell victim to state-sanctioned highway robbery and paid 50 CHF per person (July 30, 2025).

Whether you're coming from the south or the north, the spot where the glacial runoff pours into Lake Dix is truly impressive. You can take a break and watch the massive masses of water for a long time. The lake is located at an elevation of 2,362 meters. Fun fact: the dam at the other end of Lac des Dix is, at 285 meters, the tallest structure in Switzerland.

The Pichioc waterfall is a wonderful place. The waterfall itself is not too huge. The water is very cold and can be turbulent, so if you want to go into the river, cross with caution.

A beautiful and quiet riverside area, close to the towns of La Tzoumaz and Verbier. The wooded area around the river provides much needed shade during the summer months.
