A fabulous ride up (or down) through this river valley in the Val de Bagnes region. Your destination being the end of the road at the imposing Barrage de Mauvoisin.

The valley is superb, with torrents, wetlands, a few small mountain pasture villages. Several trails allow you to reach, among other things, the Col entre deux Saut.

Very pretty Swiss valley along the Dranse. Starting from the Col de Feret (2,490 meters), on the Italian border, the valley passes through La Fouly and Orsières and is part of the famous Tour du Mont-Blanc.

Over hill and dale and always uphill, the route first goes through the forest, so it's nice and cool, and the last stretch is on the slope to La Breya mountain station. You keep getting great views!
