A small footbridge leads us from one side to the other. It's lovely to stop on the footbridge and watch the flowing water.

I drove past first. I didn't regret my return trip! A beautiful little lake, Aaschächli, hidden and quiet. A little idyll. Unfortunately, I was there at dusk, so I couldn't see much, but I could still see and, more importantly, hear the birds landing on the water, seeking nighttime shelter. A perfect place to unwind. Thank you to the creator of this highlight 😍🔝.

Ideal place to watch birds and enjoy nature.

The "valley" is about 100m deep and has a size of about 72 hectares. Because of its steep, wooded flanks, the valley in the Tafeljura is also known as the small "Grand Canyon" of the Baselbiet. Nature lovers in particular get their money's worth in the "valley", because in addition to the natural vegetation, the many waterfalls and beautiful ponds, the nature reserve is home to many rare animals and plants of the region. The Ballypark in Schönenwerd, a large park in the English style with pond landscapes, stilt houses, and old trees. Driving is prohibited in the park, the cycle path runs outside the park

The pile-dwelling settlement, the park and not forgetting the wonderful old buildings, a really good thing.
