The beginnings of Bally Park date back to 1868. The complex acquired its current shape as part of the expansions around 1890 and 1920.
The boundaries of the parking area are defined on the long sides in the west by the Aare and in the east by the railway embankment. To the north is the Kosthaus and to the south the complex ends at the tennis courts and ends in Gretzenbacher Schachen. The park offers plenty of space for cozy walks. A pile-dwelling settlement was built on a small lake.
Be sure to visit Bally Park. With the bike you can only use the southern path. So push your bike and go straight through the park. Wonderful place to enjoy.
