There's a road and it's a bit developed now, but the lake remains very peaceful and beautiful. It's worth the detour. You can camp there easily, but it can get very cold in winter ❄️

One of the two lakes at around 2100 m above sea level.

Great place for a coffee or tea, it's been fairly quiet around lunchtime after the hike.

Worth combining it with the Lac d'Isli, that is in my opinion more beautiful. The gravel track that connects the two is pleasant. Nevertheless, the Lac de Tislit is a good option if you don't have time or can't leave the asphalt road.

Beautiful lake away from the roads. The gravel track going there is also worth the trip.

The hot spring is full of fish, according to legend these fish are sacred. There is also a nice restaurant with a beautiful lawn.

Ouirgane is a village that disappeared when the Yacoub el Mansour dam was created. Ouirgane 2 is now built on the heights and dominates the lake. From this village you can in clear weather have a very beautiful view of the northern slope of Jbel Gourza, one of the peaks of the Atlas. The lake, despite the destruction it has caused, nevertheless attracts visitors. Several hotels and restaurants are now must-sees. I recommend you go to Momo 2 or have dinner at the smoking boar. These two places are almost institutions in Ouirgane. Close to Chez Momo, there is a campsite on the heights which can be very practical. Finally, many trails leave from Ouirgane to explore the surrounding mountains on foot. In times of drought, the lake can be very low and its access is made difficult.
