A stunning view from the summit of the highest mountain on the Korean Peninsula. Despite the cold November weather, the summit was quite busy.

The highest mountain on the Korean Peninsula, offering correspondingly good views. The climb shouldn't be underestimated, and the temperature is quite cold and windy due to the high altitude. Snow can also linger at the summit for a long time.

One of the peaks in Naejangsan National Park along the peak ridge trail, offering great views towards the other side of the valley and a monastery there

Another one of the peak along the 7 Peak Ridge Trail, standing at 679 m. As the previous peaks, it is accessible via the ridge trail, which has many up and down sections over stairs which requires good fitness, but it's not too technically demanding. This peak offers views through cool rock formations down the valley to Naejangsan peak and back to Jeopij-ri city.

First peak on my hike down from the valley after a very steep uphill hike with many steps. The views are though absolutely stunning and some of the best, as you can see both towards Naejangsan peak opposite and back to the city of Jeongeup. Very rewarding hike and not too technical, it just requires fitness, good legs and lungs to hike up here.

The Baekmudong to Cheonwangbong section has many stone steps, so shoes with good grip are essential.

Going to Jogyesan to eat barley rice~ The barley rice is really delicious.

Daedeoksan Mountain forms the Sobaek Mountain Range along with Minjujisan Mountain to the north, Sambongsan Mountain to the south, and Deogyusan Mountain, forming the boundary between Yeongnam and Honam. Is it because the Mupungcheon River, a tributary of the Geumgang River, and the Gamcheon River, a tributary of the Nakdong River, originate from this mountain that it is called Daedeoksan Mountain because of its great virtue?
