A lovely view of the Isefjord, in an area of abundant natural wildlife. Like so much of this region, it's quiet and peaceful. Stop here for a breather and take in the view.

Hov Vig is a man-made wetland with unique birdlife, making it a bird spotter's paradise. It was created as a damming project that began in the late 19th century, gradually transforming through the next century into what it is today. Even if you're not a bird enthusiast, it's a very peaceful place to stop with a good view over the water.

The small island of Nekselø has around 20 inhabitants. It has been a nature reserve since 1951, among other things to protect the fire-bellied toad that breeds there. The island is hilly and even has a small lake. A wonderful landscape that you can easily walk through in 1.5 to 2 hours.

The idyllic forest lake at Kildebæk is relatively new, although it looks as if it has always been there. It was excavated in 1989 because they wanted more water in the forest. Some old ash trees had to die, and the Zealand Engineer Regiment blasted away the roots. Five kilos of TNT were used for each root. Today you can sit and eat your food by the lake, enjoy the silence and the beautiful view or just let your thoughts fly. There are carousels in the lake and also pike and eel.

From Ellinge Lyng it starts overland, behind Hojby there is a beautiful nature reserve with single trails through woods and meadows. Caution: nature reserve with breeding grounds for many birds! The ruin is well worth seeing and is located in the middle of Lake Hojby and can be reached via a wooden bridge.
