この地域と近くのOrtazzinoに集中しており、2000年に到着したダマジカは現在290頭ですが、2023年には500頭を超えていました。急激な減少は12頭のオオカミの存在によるものです。彼らは臆病で、下生えの中に住み、夜間に移動する傾向があるため、ハイキング中に遭遇することは非常にまれです。

The Chiaro del Pontazzo is a natural reserve of the Natura 2000 network and a special protection area managed by the Po Delta Park Authority; its peculiarity is a delicate balance of fresh water and salt water to which the Valtorto drain and that of via Cupa on the side of via Baiona contribute, unfortunately very polluted by the waste water of the highly industrialized area, one of the countless contradictions of the modern era 🙄👎

The lagoons and canals of the Comacchio valleys, famous for their biodiversity, are an important nature reserve and an ideal place for bird watching, including flamingos. The area is also famous for eel farming.

A spectacular route! Cycling in the middle of the sea is a unique sensation that you can experience in few places, this is one of the few!

This dirt path runs alongside the Reno river on one side and the Comacchio valleys on the other where large groups of splendid flamingos can be spotted. This place is a great location to take a photo and admire these wonderful birds.
