Oriola River Beach, opened in August 2025. It is located in the heart of the Albergaria dos Fusos Dam and offers services including a bar/restaurant, restrooms, and parking for motorhomes.

Inside Joana Park, in Viana do Alentejo, there is a beautiful and useful pond that used to flow through a stone channel, from a higher point in the park, and from an old wine jar. This pond provides shelter for dozens of frogs and water for many birds that can be seen in the park. We can also observe many bees and other insects there satisfying their water needs.👍

The River Beach in the Nautical Center of Monsaraz, where the Moinho do Gato was located, opened in 2017 and was the first beach in Lake Alqueva to be awarded the Blue Flag and the most accessible beach.

Before entering the town through the main gate, you have this wonderful panoramic view to the north, to the part of the town outside the wall and to the Alqueva Dam.

Private property, but access is permitted as long as civility rules are respected. Area where there are cattle, so be careful when approaching these animals. Excellent area for observing water birds.

The Gameiro Ecological Park was created at the Gameiro Dam, on the Raia River. It is a park that serves as a point of interest for the municipality, as it has a diverse range of attractions and infrastructures available. Examples include the Camping Park, Picnic Park, Leisure Area, Mora River Park and the Tree Climbing Park in the surrounding area, designed for extreme sports, and the Wooden Walkway along 1.5 km of the Raia River. The Gameiro Ecological Park is located in the parish of Cabeção, in the municipality of Mora.
