At the highest point in the municipality of Viana do Castelo, Our Lady of Minho stands guard over the mountains. In the cave, an image carved in stone wears Minho attire, as if blessing the immense landscape. Right at the top of Serra da Labruja we find this space, often used by pilgrims to rest or have a meal after the hard climb up the mountain. The landscape is magnificent. Despite the lack of rubbish bins, the place is perfectly clean, which denotes the civility of the pilgrims who pass through here.
