The Izvorul Muntelui reservoir, also known as Lacul Bicaz, is a reservoir through which the Bistrița river flows, north of Bicaz in Neamț County in Romania. It is the largest reservoir located entirely within Romania. The reservoir is used to generate electricity in the Bicaz-Stejaru hydroelectric power plant.

In recent years, on this lake have wintered populations of black-necked crocodile, red-necked crocodile, large window, mottled window and small window. Besides these species, in November, you can see on Lake Batca Doamnei specimens of large cormorants that land here during migration.
