Cuejdel Lake is one of the largest natural dam lakes in Romania and is located in the Stanisorea Mountains in the area of Gârcina commune, near Piatra Neamț. It represents a natural area of special protection that corresponds to the IUCN IV category.
As a tourist you can walk around the lake on the forest road that runs along the water. Nature has worked intensely in this area and the results are seen in a landscape that enchants the eyes at every step. Stems of reeds, a cork left, the tree grouped in strange forms, roots: the whole area is an amalgam of elements that impress.
