To reach the Seven Ladders Gorge, you have to hike a good four kilometers uphill from the town of Timișu de Jos through the Piatra Mare Mountains, always following the Șurii de Piatră mountain stream, which also carved the gorge into the rock further up. In total, the approach takes just under an hour and a half and involves climbing 260 meters, occasionally surrounded by zipline adventurers who, suspended from a pulley on a rope, use gravity to crisscross the canyon.

Very difficult trail through a stream bed. At least one section requires climbing with hands and feet.

Quite a walk, bring with you căpșunică.

Spectacular views. The return of the gorge of the 7 stairs can be done by following the route marked with blue triangles (it leads directly to the apartment). It is very little traveled by and passes by this viewpoint.

From this, you can link to several mountain bike routes. Some are marked (once the gorge has been passed).

The gorge is spectacular and highly recommended for entering the Piatra Craiuli National Park. The ascent is by track. And although there is a cumulative difference in level and in some areas there is quite a bit to lose, it goes up well.

Very beautiful gorge with many niches. Also ideal for climbers. If you want to be undisturbed, you shouldn't walk there on the weekend.
