Unfortunately, we were unlucky and couldn't see the reflection of the mountains in the lake 😥 Nevertheless, it's a beautiful hike with great viewpoints - it's definitely worth it even then.

the path down to the glacier itself is steep and loose. take extra care on the shiny red patches as these are slippery even with grippy shoes. follow the cairns and go for a dip
