The Herrenberg Landscape Park is located west of the Werra River at the foot of the Bielstein (410m). Here, numerous paths crisscross the park, some with steps and others marked by waystones. The circular hiking trail (approx. 23km) passes over the Bielstein. Nearby, you'll find what's known as "Meiningen's most beautiful balcony," the Diezhäuschen.

Hexenberg is a peak in Thuringia and has a terrain elevation of 491 metres. Hexenberg is situated close to Fossillagerstätte Ur-Werra, and close to Turnerdenkmal.

At 538 m, the Hohe Schule is the second highest mountain in the eastern Rhön foothills. On the high school there was a fortification from the Hallstatt or La Tène period.
