The hut is open from November 1st to Good Friday. During this time it is open every Saturday from 2 p.m. to midnight and every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Blitzenreuter Lake District has been known as an ecologically valuable area for many years. As early as 1924, the central raised bog core and its non-peat-drained surroundings were protected as a protected forest. In 1937, other parts of the area were designated as a nature reserve (Dornacher Ried with Häckler Ried, Häcklerweiher and Buchsee). Very attractive even in winter.

You can reach it by walking or cycling, there are no timetables, I think it is used for hunting checks in the area. It is a place that can be visited any time of the year. fantastic and engaging place!!! Good vision.

The house in the woods, a place where you can stop and for a moment let yourself be carried away by the sounds of *Nature*, a small paradise that is worth visiting.

Private public catering since October 1st, 2023, always on the first Sunday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with homemade cakes and small cold and warm dishes.
