The Koberbach Dam is a dam in the northwest of the Zwickau district in the Free State of Saxony. It was built to supply industrial water to the towns of Neukirchen and Crimmitschau and today serves exclusively for flood protection and recreation. Great for relaxation, hiking, picnicking, swimming, and fishing. There's even a drive-in cinema directly across from the Koberbach Dam.

The Koberbach Dam was built between 1926 and 1929 for the industrial water supply and dams the Koberbach and Erdbach rivers... The dam is a so-called earthfill dam. The so-called tea house at Nöbdenitzer Teich is a replica of the historical original. It used to be in the private garden of the manor owners. On the occasion of the Federal Garden Show in 2007, the Nöbdenitz local beautification association rebuilt the historic tea house between the ponds after over 60 years. Today the tea house is a popular rest and picnic area right on the Sprotte adventure trail. From here you have a wonderful view of the pond with island, the former Nöbdenitz moated castle and the church in the background. Joooo really an idyllic place to cool off...nice lawn and benches. Rental of rowing canoes...standup board, etc. Kiosk at certain opening times...it was worth relaxing and recharging your batteries on the bike tour... 🤣😍
