This highlight is the viewpoint above the Kesselwand. The Kesselwand itself is one of the Swabian Alb's largest climbing areas and offers numerous routes for beginners and advanced climbers. A path branches off from the Albtraufpfad to the climbing rock. This path is well secured with ropes and steps. The short detour around the rock is definitely worth it for a direct view. The beautiful Zipfelbach Gorge is worth a visit at any time of year. The path leads over several bridges along the Zipfelbach and there is always something to discover.

When it rains heavily, everything gets washed away; the slope is perfect for that.

Beautiful valley, in spring and after rain the vegetation is almost reminiscent of the tropics :-)

In spring, access is closed because of the rare wallcreeper, which wants to nest in peace on the rock face. Please be considerate and pay attention!

Great atmosphere in this original valley in the Bannwald.

The Zipfelbach Gorge is always beautiful. The Zipfelbach meanders down a gorge to Hepsisau. On the way you cross the stream again and again via bridges and footbridges.

You can hike here quite nicely through the Zipfelbachtal valley over Mörikefels because you have a great view.
