A beautiful place for nature lovers and for a nice break by the lake

A wonderful place to rest.

In the lower part of the spa park you can walk around the beautiful spa park pond with its fountain or simply enjoy the view over the spa park from one of the benches.

The area of today's "Neun Brunnen", located south of the town of Heiligenstadt in the Pferdebach valley, was first documented in 1634. It got its name from the nine springs (Neun Börner). The area is still rich in springs today, although the exact number is not known. As early as the 19th century, the area of the "Neun Brunnen" was a popular destination for Heiligenstadt families. People would meet up in company and have picnics. People could make their own coffee to accompany their meals. Gastronomy has been in operation since around 1880.

The Bruchteiche near Bad Sooden-Allendorf are ideal for leisurely circular walks (approx. 2km). You can also include them in the longer P7 circuit (15km). Numerous benches invite you to linger and enjoy the banks of the pond.
