The Glockengraben stream, coming from the direction of Teistungen, flows into the reservoir near Teistungen.

The calm water surface reflects the surrounding vegetation and sky, providing a picturesque backdrop for relaxation and photography.

This highlight should actually be called “Wildunger Teich”. It is well located in the forest, but can only be reached by bike after overcoming a few climbs.

A great lake with entrances in many places and with platforms. Here you can enjoy the evening or the whole day.

The approximately 13 hectare reservoir "Glockengraben Teistungen" is 1 km east of Teistungen. It was completed in 1986 as a service water reservoir for agriculture. Its location in the former restricted area resulted in the settlement of a species-rich flora and fauna. After the border was opened, the idyll for rare animal and plant species was suddenly threatened by water sports enthusiasts and day trippers. Intensive agriculture endangered the water quality of the lake. Through constructive cooperation between the Teistungen community of participants, the Lindenberg/Eichsfeld administrative community, the Office for Regional Development in Gotha and the Heinz Sielmann Foundation...
