In 1629, Wallenstein's troops burned down the old manor house. The Levetzow family then built a new Renaissance-style building on the old foundations. This manor house was subsequently remodeled in the Tudor style in 1898 by the architect Schultze-Naumburg (Cecilienhof Potsdam).

Located in the picturesque countryside of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Prebberede Castle is an impressive example of 18th century architecture. Originally built as a manor house, it has been redesigned and expanded several times over the years. Surrounded by a spacious park, the castle offers an idyllic setting for events and weddings. Today it is a popular destination for tourists who want to explore the history and beauty of the region. The combination of historical substance and natural surroundings makes Prebberede a special place.

The castle tower stands alone and is remarkable for that reason alone. You can walk through it into the small avenue.

Freely accessible. A clinic is housed here. The extension was adapted to fit the manor house.

Some buildings around Remplin have already been restored, unfortunately the tower has not (yet) been restored and is already pretty dilapidated.
