Access to the gorge has been closed since last autumn. But you can pass it on the left .. no less impressive

Nice little gorge. Unfortunately, only 2/3 of the railing on the left side of the wooden stairs is missing. You have crossed the gorge in 5 minutes, and you can easily integrate it into the Spittelstein circular hiking trail. However, the signs on this route are sometimes poor.

The waterfall sounds so powerful - it's more of a waterfall ... but still nice to look at. But I wouldn't take a detour because of that.
