The Oberteich is the town lake of Schönberg, a town in northwest Mecklenburg. The approximately eleven-hectare Oberteich is located within the town limits of Schönberg, northwest of the historic center around St. Laurentius Church and the market square. It is surrounded by a park with a lakeside path, a prominent feature of the townscape. As a fishing area, the Oberteich contains eel, perch, bream, pike, carp, roach, tench, and zander.
