The manor house in Stretense is a two-storey plastered building in neo-Gothic forms. The castle, the octagonal so-called Irmgard Chapel and the preserved ice cellar still shape the village structure today.

The moated castle, built in 1575, is one of the few surviving Renaissance mansions in Western Pomerania. After extensive renovation and restoration work, the gates have been open again since 2020.

The Müggenburg moated castle is also called Müggenburg Castle and is a mansion in neo-Gothic style. Between 1986 and 1987 filming for a DEFA film (One Carrying Another Load) took place here.
