The history of the town dates back to the Middle Ages. To this day, you can admire the church from 1738 and the farm, which includes a half-timbered family estate built in 1761 and 19th-century buildings of a distillery, a steam mill, a cowshed, two barns, a stable, a sheepfold and a stable for carriage horses. The farm buildings were built of both stone and baked brick.

In the barn, where 600 beets were grown in the GDR, today there are two dance studios and a cinema hall. In the former piggery - a German-Polish meeting center. In the old grain warehouse - a kitchen with a dining room, in the former distillery - a cafe. Only the palace has still not undergone a general renovation, although it bears a proud name: the International Center for Artistic Research. The history of Broellin dates back to the 12th century, when it was ruled by the knight Bralin. The historic manor farm has five hectares, with eight buildings with a total usable area of 12,500 square meters. When the GDR was collapsing, agricultural production according to the old model ceased to be profitable. Subsequent LPG facilities were excluded from it and a new user was frantically searched for. The location helped: only 30 km from the Polish border, 40 from Szczecin, and 130 from Berlin. Since 1992, it has been under the care of the Association: "schloss broellin e.V", which was founded by independent theater producers and directors, scenographers, theatrologists, musicians and sociologists, involved in the search for new paths in art. They organize artistic workshops, vernissages, concerts and performances in all fields. Their common goal is to search for links between art, knowledge and social life. From the beginning, they have used their location in the Polish-German border region for artistic exchange between the two countries. For 15 years, they have been closely cooperating with the KANA and PLECIUGA theaters in Szczecin. Every year, they actively participate in the KONTRAPUNKT Festival of Small Theatrical Forms.

A vast farm in the area of a medieval castle. Very nicely refurbished. In the historical buildings there is, among others, hotel with restaurant, park, historic building which houses the fire brigade and others. The first castle layout probably dates back to the 13th century and was built as a border defensive structure. Only the former castle tower, the Fangelturm, has survived from the medieval period. In the 17th century, the castle was rebuilt into a manor house, and in the 19th century it was an extensive property with a gatehouse, distillery, steam mill, barns, stables for cows, horses, sheep and cart horses. The current well-kept condition is the result of a renovation in 1994.

The listed building, now known as Krugsdorf Castle, is a neo-baroque mansion from 1924 with a surrounding area of 18 hectares. It is used as the Hotel & Golf Resort Schloss Krugsdorf. History: The estate has been owned by the von Eickstedt family since 1579. The first owner was Valentin von Eickstedt, Chancellor of the Pomerania-Wolgast government, secret council, governor of Wolgast and Ueckermünde. In 1579 he was enfeoffed with the Coblentz and Krugsdorf estates because of his services as chancellor. The last owner from the von Eickstedt family was Hans Georg Dubslaff von Eickstedt (1860–1908). Long succession and high debts prompted Hans Georg Dubslaff von Eickstedt to sell the castle-like Krugsdorf mansion with all its possessions (774 hectares) in 1898. The property passed into the possession of the Heuer family, who remained childless and were forced to sell the property again in 1918. The next owner was the trained wheelwright Johann Hintze, who moved from the Schwichtensee Vorwerk to Krugsdorf. At that time, the manor house was still a thatched half-timbered house. During a summer thunderstorm, the thatched manor house burned down almost completely. Hintze had the castle built in its current form as a two-story plastered building. The initials JH of the builder can be found above the portal of the castle. After the Second World War, the property was expropriated. After it was temporarily vacant, the manor house was used as a residential building for refugee families. After 1948/49 the district took over the agricultural engineering property (LPG). The manor house was used by the LPG and as a school. In December 1985 Sabine and Eberhard Kloth (as tenants) took over the restaurant in the old castle. In 1990 it became the property of Jan Brozius from Uelzen. Furthermore, the Kloth family was tenant in the manor house until 1999. Brozius converted the castle into a hotel (opened in 1992). In 1999 the castle hotel went bankrupt and was then empty. In 2004 J.A. Fernhout took over the castle hotel and began renovating the building in 2005. A golf course was built by 2009. Subsequently, the castle was further renovated from winter 2009 and the dependance from spring 2010. The interior was built according to plans by interior designer Thally van Beyeren. Half-timbered church with a polygonal east end and boarded tower tower, built at the end of the 17th or beginning of the 18th century. The south portal was added, the entrance is via the cassette portal on the west side. Small rectangular windows, the east end is windowless. The curved hood of the square roof tower is covered with wooden shingles. Today the ringing consists of four bells: one bell cast by Johann Heinrich Schmidt in Stettin in 1704, the other three in 1999. A bell from 1958 stands in front of the churchyard wall. The interior is flat. The furnishings include the pulpit and sound cover of a simple pulpit altar from the first half of the 19th century, the west gallery from the same period and a panel painting from around 1600. The organ positive was built by the organ building company Hermann Eule in Bautzen.
