If you want to spend the night in this beautiful idyllic place, you should definitely bring a mosquito net with you 😉 Anti-mosquito spray was even available in the hut 👍

The former marl pit is now a beautiful leisure pool. A day ticket costs €3.00 and is well worth it.

This is a trekking site offered by the state forests in the "Wildes Schleswig-Holstein" project at the youth forest home in Süderlügum. The site is southwest of the JWH building, about 150 m away by a small pond. The site is open to the public. https://www.naturschutz-sh.de/wildes-sh/trekkingplatz-suederluegum

Here at the quarry lake you can take a nice break. The lake cannot be circumnavigated on foot or by bike on the shore. But you can go all the way down to the shore, there are small places where you can sit and rest. You should NOT swim in the lake!!! The shore is very sandy and soft.

Overnight hut based on the Scandinavian model, with a large pond including island and raft.... 👍 😁 Exit to the street also straight from the square up to the north possible... in the KomootMap not registered 😉

This lake, in the middle of a Galloway pasture and in the forest nature reserve, is an idyllic place to rest.
